Greg started out thinking he was too smart to become a Christian and ended up dedicating his life to the defense of the Christian faith.

Greg is the President of Stand to Reason and has been featured on Focus on the Family radio, CBN and the BBC. An award-winning writer and best-selling author, Greg has written or contributed to 18 books, including, Street Smarts, The Story of Reality, and Tactics.

Greg is an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University. He’s hosted his own radio talk show for over 30 years advocating clear-thinking Christianity and a gracious defense of the Christian worldview.

Brian C. Hughes is the founding and Senior Pastor of Passion Community Church. A pastor for over 20 years, Brian is passionate about connecting people who don’t go to church with the Truth about Jesus Christ. He has both a Master’s of Divinity and an earned doctorate and is a profound teacher and expert communicator. When he is not preparing his own messages and providing pastoral care, he spends a large part of his time coaching and leading PCC’s Teaching Team and staff, as well as mentoring up-and-coming leaders within the church.

Brian has been married to his best friend, Susan, since 1990 and they have 3 children together. They still live in Powhatan where PCC began.

Karl Leonard

I am honored to have privilege to represent the exceptional men and women who make up our fine organization and to serve the citizens of Chesterfield County as their Sheriff.

My education coupled with over 30 years of public service with the Chesterfield Police Department, 2 years with the Richmond Sheriff’s Office, and now several years with the Chesterfield Sheriff’s Office combined with an over 30 year military career that took me from my enlistment in 1985, to completing Officer Candidate School in 1990, up to my retirement in 2015 as a Captain serving in the U.S. Coast Guard both active and Reserve where I have commanded several units and deployed numerous times, has more than prepared me to be Sheriff.
