Greg started out thinking he was too smart to become a Christian and ended up dedicating his life to the defense of the Christian faith.

Greg is the President of Stand to Reason and has been featured on Focus on the Family radio, CBN and the BBC. An award-winning writer and best-selling author, Greg has written or contributed to 18 books, including, Street Smarts, The Story of Reality, and Tactics.

Greg is an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University. He’s hosted his own radio talk show for over 30 years advocating clear-thinking Christianity and a gracious defense of the Christian worldview.

When he is not preparing his own messages and providing pastoral care, he spends a large part of his time coaching and leading PCC’s Teaching Team and staff, as well as mentoring up-and-coming leaders within the church.

Brian has been married to his best friend, Susan, since 1990 and they have 3 children together. They still live in Powhatan where PCC began.

Sheriff Karl Leonard knows what it means to lead. With a law enforcement career spanning over four decades, including 11 years as sheriff, Karl leads Chesterfield County, Virginia’s two jails and over 300 officers and civilian personnel.

After learning that a staggering 80% of the men and women who enter his jails are heroin addicts, Karl made the bold move to create a first-of-its-kind recovery program to end the cycle of arrest, release, and repeat.

As featured in the documentary “Jailhouse Redemption,” Karl created, the HARP Program, which stands for Helping Addicts Recover Progressively, where he has seen unprecedented results in reduced recidivism among its participants and garnered national attention for this unprecedented program.

Along with being an elected official who is outspoken for his faith, Karl is a retired Captain from the US Coast Guard.
