This week Glen Sturtevant joins the show to discuss how men can make an impact in their communities. Glen is a former Virginia state senator who is up for reelection. Glen has also been a part of the Richmond city school board, his day job as a lawyer focuses on military members and the service they have received with the Veterans Affairs department. We need to ignore the headlines of the national politics and focus on our communities, the same way the apostles spread the word of Jesus. This starts at the dinner table and leading your family, and showing how to make hard decisions that are right, but not popular. John 16:33 – I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. Heb 12:1-2 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
